Our Approach to Second Opinions
At Care ADHD, our clinicians prepare thoroughly for each assessment. This includes a detailed review of all pre-assessment rating scales and forms completed by the patient. We rely upon the accuracy and honesty of the information provided, as we have no reason to believe that patients would withhold key details or respond inaccurately.
However, we acknowledge that there may be cases where information is incomplete or inaccurately reported. In such instances, it is at the discretion of our clinicians to determine whether the diagnostic outcome should be revisited based on any new or clarified information.
If you have concerns about the accuracy or thoroughness of an assessment, please raise them. These concerns will be escalated to the Clinical Director for review. Following this, the original diagnostic decision may either be upheld or revised, depending on the findings of a full clinical review.
